Where we work

We're based in Clacton-on-Sea, and Tendring is our patch. Most towns below have their own page about the houses and gardens there, and what that means for the jobs we do.

Town pages

• Clacton-on-Sea, with Holland-on-Sea, Jaywick, St Osyth and Point Clear: Victorian terraces in the centre, post-war estates to the north, and seaside chalets along the coast.
• Frinton-on-Sea and Kirby Cross: large Edwardian houses and gardens, 1930s modern houses, and a conservation area.
• Walton-on-the-Naze: early 19th-century crescents, a lot of interwar terraces, and bigger houses to the north.
• Harwich, Dovercourt and Parkeston: a medieval Old Town with Georgian fronts and narrow streets, and railway-era Dovercourt next door.

Other places we cover

• Thorpe-le-Soken: a village with a lot of historic buildings, including its Victorian maltings. Everything on our services page covers it.
• Weeley and Great Bentley: villages west of Clacton, towards Colchester. Everything on our services page covers them.
• Manningtree and Mistley: on the Stour estuary, known for Mistley's old maltings. We take jobs here and put them on the same day as other nearby work where we can.
• Colchester: we take flat-pack and garden jobs here. Call to check a date.
• Ipswich, Braintree and Witham: further out. We do take some jobs there, usually larger ones, or when we're already nearby. Ask, and we'll tell you straight whether we can fit yours in.

Travel

We don't add a travel charge within Clacton. Further out, travel is part of the price we give you, never an extra on the day. If you're flexible on the date, tell us: we can often put your job on the same day as others nearby, which makes the trip worthwhile.
